ABIERTA CONVOCATORIA PARA LA SUMMER EXHIBITION 2016

BASES SUMMER EXHIBITION CÍRCULO DE BELLAS ARTES DE TENERIFE 2016

En 1926 comenzó la actividad del Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife y desde entonces el empeño de este centro en promover el arte y la cultura ha sido constante.

 

Coincidiendo con el próximo verano 2016 realizaremos nuestra segunda Summer Exhibition, esta exposición tratará de continuar con nuestra tradición de mostrar el trabajo de artistas emergentes y consolidados en todos los medios, incluyendo la pintura, la escultura, la fotografía, el grabado, la arquitectura y audiovisual.

 

La exposición se celebrará desde el 4 de julio  hasta el 21 de septiembre de 2016.

 

Todos los artistas contemporáneos están invitados a participar, los interesados enviar email al correo presidencia@circulobellasartestf.com

 

Por tanto, el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife inicia la preparación de la  II Edición de la SUMMER EXHIBITION con las siguientes bases:

 

 

BASES

 

Participantes:

 

• Podrán concurrir a la convocatoria tanto artistas a título individual como colectivos de artistas con una o varias obras (máximo 6 por artista, con posibilidad de reposición en caso de venta) de dimensiones reducidas.

 

• La participación está abierta a artistas de cualquier nacionalidad.

 

 

Fechas:

 

• Plazo de presentación de solicitudes de participación: 14 de abril al 26 de mayo de 2016. Los interesados manifestarán su interés por participar en dicha exposición vía email a la siguiente dirección: presidencia@circulobellasartestf.com.

 

• Plazo de entrega de las obras seleccionadas: 21 de junio de 2016, en sede del Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife, c/ Castillo nº43 38003 Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

 

 

Características de las obras:

 

• Las obras serán contemporáneas, de los últimos dos años de la creación de cada autor, el tema el verano como temática. Pensar el verano, el tiempo libre, la felicidad del tiempo libre y las vacaciones y similares ideas.

 

• Cualquier disciplina artística es admitida.

 

• Las obras se presentarán embaladas y preparadas para su exhibición, teniendo en cuenta que se valorará con especial atención su portabilidad (dimensiones que la mayoría de los interesados, público de la isla en general, y turistas en particular, pudiera adquirir para una colección de arte y llevarse cómodamente).

 

 

• No se aceptarán obras realizadas con materiales perecederos o que supongan potencial riesgo de deterioro.

 

 

 

Dimensiones: 

 

• Las obras no superarán 70 cm. En su lado mayor.

 

 

 

 Documentación a presentar:

 

• Imagen de la obra propuesta incluyendo ficha técnica, conceptualización y contextualización de la misma.

 

• Breve biografía del artista.

 

• Statement del artista aceptando las condiciones de esta convocatoria.

 

 

 

Entrega y recogida de las obras:

 

• Los artistas seleccionados se darán a conocer durante el periodo comprendido entre la convocatoria y el 20 de mayo. Los participantes seleccionados se responsabilizan de la entrega de la obra en el Círculo antes del 21 de junio y de la recogida en CBA de las obras una vez finalizada la exposición.

 

• Toda obra deberá estar acompañada con un certificado de autenticidad. Y en el caso de Fotografía y Reproducciones deberá estar perfectamente identificada la tirada y la serie a la que corresponde.

 

 

Difusión:

 

• Los artistas aceptan la difusión de las imágenes de las obras, así como de la documentación aportada.

 

 

Venta:

• Las obras deberán tener un precio y se pondrán a la venta. El precio será el decidido por cada artista libremente. El Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife recibirá el 30% del valor de cada obra vendida y el artista el 70% restante.

 

 

Colaboración:

 

• Durante la exposición podrán realizarse otras actividades en la sala de arte del círculo que servirán de promoción de la misma.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SUBMISSION FOR THE SUMMER EXHIBITION OF TENERIFE FINE ARTS CENTRE 2016

 

In 1926 the Tenerife Fine Arts Centre activity started and since then the commitment of this Centre to promote art and culture has been constant.

 

Coinciding with next summer 2016 we will hold our second Summer Exhibition, this exhibition will try to continue with our tradition of showing the work of emerging and established artists in all disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, architecture and audiovisual.

 

The exhibition will be held from the 4^th of July the 21^st of September 2016.

 

All contemporary artists are invited to participate; interested applicants will send email to presidencia@circulobellasartestf.com

 

Therefore, the Tenerife Fine Arts Centre starts preparing the II Edition of the SUMMER EXHIBITION with the following Terms and Conditions:

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SUBMISSION

Participants:

• May attend the call both, individually as well as groups of artists, with one or more works (maximum 6 per artist, with the possibility of replacement in case of sale) of reduced dimensions.
• Participation is open to artists of any nationality.

 

Dates:

• Deadline for submission of requests to participate: 14th of April to 26^th of May 2016. Interested applicants will express their interest in participating in the exhibition via email to the following address: presidencia@circulobellasartestf.com

 

• Deadline for the delivery of selected works: 21^st of June  of 2016, to the head office of Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife, C / Castillo nº43 38003 Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

 

Works’ characteristics:

• The works will be contemporary, from the last two years of the creation of each author, Summer as a theme.
• Any artistic discipline is admitted.
• The works shall be packed and prepared for exhibition, taking into account that special attention will be paid to portability (dimensions which most of the people who are interested in, public from the island in general, and tourists in particular, that could acquire for an art collection and take conveniently).
• Works made of perishable materials or involving potential risk of deterioration will not be accepted.

 

Dimensions:

The works shall not exceed 70 cm. In its longest side.

 

Documentation required:

• Image of the work proposed including Technical Data, conceptualization and contextualization.
• Brief biography of the artist
• Artist Statement accepting the terms and conditions of this call.

 

Delivery and collection of the works:

• The selected artists will be announced during the period of the call and 20th May. Selected participants are responsible for the delivery of the works to the Tenerife Fine Arts Centre (Círculo Bellas Artes de Tenerife) before 21st June and collected them at CBA once the exhibition is finished.
• All work must be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. And in the case of photography and reproductions must be clearly identified number of copies and the series to which it corresponds.

 

Diffusion: The artists accept the diffusion of the works’ images, as well as the
documentation provided.

 

Sale: The works should be priced and will go on sale. The price will be freely decided by each artist. The Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife will receive 30% of
the value of each piece sold and the artist the remaining 70%.

 

Collaboration: during the exhibition other activities may take place in the art gallery of the Círculo which will be used to promote the event.
